 ** Tuesday, June 4th at 7:00 p.m. - Launch Event for The Guest House by Erika Marks.

Erika Marks is a native New Englander who was raised in Maine and has worked as an illustrator, cake decorator, and carpenter. She lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, with her husband, a native New Orleanian, their two daughters, and their dog.

 Hear Erika talk about her inspiration for this novel as she is interviewed by Valerie Welbourn, owner of the bookstore.

Afterwards there will be a Q&A session, followed by a reception.  Free and open to the public. 

 ** Monday, June 10th at 7:00 p.m. - Karen White will talk about her new novel, The Time Between, which is set in Edisto Island, S.C.

The talk will be followed by a reception and the opportunity to get your books signed. 

Buy the book here, and get one ticket. You can buy up to 2 extra tickets for $5 each (with book purchase). Tickets won't be sold at the door.

** Saturday, June 22nd, 2-4 p.m. - Donald Koger, a veteran of Operation New Dawn in Iraq, will be signing copies of his new book, The Corrupter.  This is the first installment of his Lamia Venator series.  Set in ancient Rome, The Corrupter retells the story of Nero from a different standpoint.  Free and open to the public.  (Sponsored Event)

** Tuesday, July 2nd at 5:30 p.m. - Launch Event for A Murder in Passing: A Sam Blackman Mystery, by Mark de Castrique!!!  Details to be posted soon.

** Saturday, July 6th at 2:00 p.m. - Karen Stokes, of Charleston, will be on hand to talk about and sign her book, Belles: A Carolina Love Story which is set in Flat Rock, NC. (Sponsored Event).

** Sunday, July 7th at 5:00 p.m. - Mary Alice Monroe will talk about her new novel The Summer Girls.  Ticketed.
